notes on drawing

As an artist, I'm fascinated by the many different mediums of expression- painting, monotype and drawing- and the ways in which each has the potential to draw me into different worlds and to ask different questions that need to be answered. Drawing is particularly freeing for me; it liberates something old, feminine and distinct within me, allowing me to create patterns and weave things together. Sometimes my movements are monotone and meditative, but other times they're liberating and transformative.
